Ubuntu Server – Add a new User as Sudoer

In SHELL

sudo useradd -d /home/testuser -m testuser
sudo passwd testuser


replace testuser with the required username.

sudo nano /etc/sudoers


add the user after the:

root ALL=(ALL) ALL


as:

testuser ALL=(ALL) ALL

Save the file.
